The brief was to create a room for the family where they could come together in the evenings to talk and watch tv, whilst also doubling as a grown up entertaining space. The dark blue gives personality to this room and has a warm, cosy feel which works for the family on a daily basis, and also particularly well in the evening when the fire is lit, creating a very convivial entertaining space for guests, with the deep hue giving the space depth and interest.
